Funmike Empowerment Foundation Celebrates Scholar’s Journey to University Success.

Funmike Empowerment Foundation (FEF) has empowered two students with a scholarship award.

The beneficiaries are Adeyinka Olufemi Benjamin and Shittu-Are Atinuke to study in Federal/State Universities in Lagos, Nigeria.
Adeyinka Benjamin is currently in the University of Lagos studying mechanical engineering, while Shittu-Are Atinuke just gained admission to the Lagos State university.

Picked up by the foundation in January last year at the age of 19, Tinuke's drive to excel in her studies was evident from the start. Despite facing financial hurdles, her passion for learning UIUX remained unwavering.

With guidance from the foundation, Tinuke explored tech schools nearby, enrolling in a program that ignited her passion for learning. Last month, after five years of perseverance, Tinuke received the news she had been eagerly awaiting: she was accepted into the University of Lagos.

Tinuke's story exemplifies the ethos of Funmike Empowerment Foundation: with determination and support, anything is possible. As the youngest of her mother’s children and the fourth among her late father’s eight, Tinuke faced significant challenges on her path to higher education.

The foundation stepped in as a beacon of hope, providing resources and opportunities to turn her dreams into reality as they believes in the transformative power of education. Through the generous support of donors and partners, the foundation has provided life-changing opportunities to aspiring scholars like Tinuke.
